Fiji Bati wing Marcelo Montoya scored a late impressive try last night to give the Canterbury Bulldogs a 20 points to 18 win over the Newcastle Knights.
The Bulldogs looked dead and buried trailing by 10 points with five minutes left on the clock but last minute tries by Montoya and Moses Mbye delivered the win.
After Round 18 of the NRL, Melbourne Storm leads the points 28 table with 28 points and the Sharks are second with 26 points.
The Roosters are also third with 26 points due to points difference.
