Moment of Silence: British and Irish Lions pay tribute to victims of terrorism attacks

The British and Irish Lions have stood for a moment of silence at an otherwise empty Auckland stadium as a mark of tribute to the victims of the London terrorism attacks.

Coaches and staff joined arms in a huddle during their captain's run at QBE Stadium in North Harbour as they paid their respects to the seven people killed and the dozens injured in the London Bridge attacks.

Captain Sam Warburton says the team would dedicate their remaining matches to those affected by the attacks in London.

11 players will earn their first cap for the British and Irish Lions when they play the Blues. The team will also have players such as Leigh Halfpenny, Jared Payne, Robbie Henshaw and Dan Biggar.

Blues coach, Tana Umaga has named 10 All Blacks in his side that includes the likes of Captain James Parsons, Charlie Faumuina, Sonny Bill Williams, Reiko Ioane, George Moala, Patrick Tuipolotu, Akira Ioane, Augustine Pulu, Ofa Tu'ungafasi and Steven Luatua.

The Lions will take on the Blues at 7.35 tonight.
