Nehe Milner‑Skudder has flown to Perth to join the Hurricanes.
The fullback or wing has not played since March 10, when he suffered three fractures to the toes in his right foot after falling awkwardly in a tackle during the team's 26‑18 loss to the Chiefs.
Having come through that, the 26‑year‑old is now expected to be in the Hurricanes' 23 to meet the Force in Perth late Saturday night.
Should Milner‑Skudder get on the paddock, it will be just his third appearance of the season.
The Hurricanes take on the Force at 11.55pm Saturday.
The Blues play the Reds in Samoa at 7.35pm this Friday.
The Crusaders take on the Highlanders at 2.35pm Saturday, the Chiefs play the Waratahs at 5.05pm while the Brumbies play the Rebels at 9.45pm Saturday.
