Viliame Mata’s 2-year old daughter always shouts ‘go ta go’ whenever she sees her father playing rugby on TV.

Mata’s wife, Wati Mata says their daughter keeps quiet during the game but whenever her father is on TV she is excited and when he scored the last try in the final she was overjoyed.

Wati describes her husband as a very quiet and loving person who would do anything for rugby.

She says every time Viliame would get injured he would come and think that his rugby career is over but the family will always encourage him, to keep going on and have faith.

She adds Viliame’s father who works in an oil company in Iraq is coming tomorrow for the celebrations after Fiji 7s historic win at the Rio Olympics.

Wati says they will not be travelling to Nadi but will join in the national celebrations on Monday at the ANZ Stadium.

She says they have a big family feast planned on a later date for Mata.
