Asia's best teams have been confirmed for the Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast Sevens next month.
The Hong Kong men’s team and the Japanese women’s team will compete as guest sides at Lawaqa Park from January 19th to 21st, 2017.
Hong Kong, in the hands of new Fiji coach Gareth Baber, recently won its third straight cup title of the Asia Rugby Sevens Series and with it their third Series title in five years.
Hong Kong joins the national team of Germany, reigning champions Police, UON Central Coast Sevens runners up Uluinakau and sponsor teams Outrigger Beach Resort, Uprising Beach Resort, Shangri‑La, BLK and Sigatoka River Safari Yamacia in the 16‑strong men's event.
Saunaka, Coastline Roos, Army and Taveuni are also confirmed having qualified in the recent Final Four for local teams.
The Mana Whey Coral Coast 7s will be held at Lawaqa Park from the 19th to the 21st of next month.
