Former Lions halfback Matt Dawson and All Blacks legend Andrew Mehrtens agree the haka has become commercialized after Warren Gatland said it's not intimidating.
The Lions coach revealed the tourists had no plans for facing the haka and says they will become familiar with it as it's performed before matches by the Blues, the Crusaders, New Zealand Maori and the Chiefs, as well as the All Blacks.
Dawson and Mehrtens, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, echoed Gatland's sentiments and Mehrtens said the haka has lost a little bit of mystique.
The Lions will take on the All Blacks on the 24th of this month at 7.35pm.
Meanwhile, in the lone Super Rugby match tonight, the Blues will face the Reds at 7.35 in Apia.
