Grammy Award‑winning artist Macklemore will headline this year’s NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final pre‑game show.
The US artist will perform his chart‑topping hit ‘Glorious’ at ANZ Stadium on October 1, along with a number of his other hits.
Macklemore’s show will be his only performance during a short trip to Australia following the release of his new album, Gemini on September 22.
Macklemore has had a number of massive hits both in Australia and the US, including Thrift Shop, Downtown, Same Love and Can’t Hold Us.
The last round of the NRL will continue today.
The Roosters will take on the Titans at 5pm, the Sea Eagles will take on the Panthers at 7.30pm while Melbourne Storm will play the Raiders at 9.30pm.
