Vodafone Flying Fijians captain Akapusi Qera is calling on all Fijians to come out in numbers to support the national side when they host Scotland at the ANZ Stadium tomorrow.
Qera says Fiji has only won once in the last six test matches they have had with the Scottish and this is the time for them to start winning big games.
Qera who has been shifted to number eight has welcomed the inclusion of Peceli Yato into the forwards, Josua Tuisova and Patrick Orsborne in the backs.
He believes the national side is ready for Scotland.
Meanwhile Scotland’s coach Gregor Townsend has made 12 changes to his starting lineup that beat the Wallabies last weekend.
Veteran hooker Ross Ford will become the most‑capped Scotland player in history and will overtake the record held by former full‑back and all‑time top points’ scorer, Chris Paterson, when he makes his 110th appearance at the ANZ Stadium, after 13 years since his debut against Australia at Murrayfield.
Their rotation accommodates a new back‑three, which features a first tour appearance for Ruaridh Jackson at full‑back, and returning wings Tim Visser and Damien Hoyland – both try scorers in Scotland’s first test victory over Italy in Singapore.
Scotland will also have a new half‑back pairing of Henry Pyrgos and Pete Horne who replaced British & Irish Lions new recruit Finn Russell while Duncan Taylor also returns to the backs.
Townsend believes Fiji are "the best in the world in terms of individual line‑breaking ability and offloading".
He says they have got to make sure they defend well against Fiji, make sure they have a line that is uniform and that they get their tackles in.
The Flying Fijians will take on Scotland at 2.30pm tomorrow and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
