Playing with the same level of fitness and game structure will be vital for the Vodafone Flying Fijians as they prepare to face Tonga in their first Pacific Nations Cup clash this Saturday.

The national side has already spent four weeks together in camp and coach John McKee is happy to see the players bond during training as it has improved the level of their game structure.

McKee believes that their defence has improved a lot with the guidance of former Brumbies defence coach Peter Ryan.

He adds that Fiji is in a comfortable position heading into the Rugby World Cup qualifiers.

Meanwhile, the national side had a light training session at the LDS Liahona High School grounds yesterday.

The team will continue with their training today before their captain’s run tomorrow.
