With the final round of regular Super Rugby fixtures completed, the final standings as well as the eight quarter‑finalists have been confirmed.
The Lions, Crusaders, Stormers and Brumbies are through to the playoffs as respective conference winners, while the Hurricanes, Chiefs, Highlanders and Sharks each booked their spot in the playoffs as the four wildcard qualifiers.
The Hurricanes will now head to Canberra to play the Brumbies in next weekend's quarter final while the Crusaders return to Christchurch for match‑up against the Highlanders.
The Chiefs travel to Capetown to take on the Stormers next week.
The Lions who have finished top of the Super Rugby competition in the regular season without facing a New Zealand side will face the Sharks next week.
