After a neck‑to‑neck battle ended with a 2‑2 result in their first leg, both the Vodafone Fiji Soccer Team and New Caledonia are eager to secure a first win in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers when they meet for their second leg this afternoon.
Fiji coach Christophe Gamel says they can be confident after their last game, making a comeback and playing the type of game they did, and they have one point that is good for their mentality.
He says they have to be confident but not over‑confident.
Gamel says the young side will have to overcome their early nerves which nearly cost them the last game.
Vodafone Fiji Soccer Team will take on New Caledonia at 6pm today in New Caledonia.
