Crusaders will be clinical and fast and we are prepared for that challenge - Byrne

The Crusaders will be clinical and fast and they will challenge our speed around the paddock, especially from the set piece and we are preparing for that.

This was highlighted by Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne as they look ahead to this weekend’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific quarter final clash against the defending champions.

Byrne says the Crusaders will be bringing a lot of speed early into their game and they will be very physical which the boys will make sure they are ready to counter.

He says the boys will bring in the same intensity they brought in against the Reds in Suva last week to perform again this weekend.

When asked about the weather condition and if it is going to be an issue for them, Byrne says that it will not be an issue for the boys as they have adapted to it.

The Fijian Drua will take on the Crusaders at 7.05pm Saturday in Christchurch.

In other quarter finals, the Blues will host the Waratahs at 7.35pm Friday, the Chiefs will take on the Reds at 4.35pm Saturday and the Brumbies will play the Hurricanes at 9.35pm Saturday.
