Coca-Cola Boys defending champions, Natabua High School will be arriving into Suva today as they aim to defend their title.

Team Manager, Tevita Delailomaloma says that for the past few weeks their training has been hindered due to the unfavourable weather conditions experienced in the west.

Delailomaloma says this year the message has been about being calm and doing the basics right.

He adds that they have prepared the team physically, mentally and spiritually to deliver the best results.

Delailomaloma says that the Coke Games this year will be bigger than last year.

The team will be led by star athlete Shane Tuvusa who won three gold medals last year.

Natabua won the boys' division with 12 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze.

Meanwhile, a total of 156 schools will be participating this year including Koro High School who have come back into the Coca-Cola Games after two years.

More than 2000 athletes will be participating in the games that will start tomorrow and end on Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.

Adi Cakobau School is the Girls defending champions.

The 100 metres heats will start at 12.15pm tomorrow while the 400 metres heats will start at 2.55pm. The 1,500 metres finals will be held from 5.25pm tomorrow.
