Italy’s assistant coach and former England coach and player Mike Catt believes that they will have to play smart rugby against the Vodafone Flying Fijians this weekend.
Knowing the improvements in the Fijian forwards and the abundance of talent in the backline, Catt says they are aware of the threats from Fiji.
As the saying goes 'Rome wasn't built in a day' and this is exactly what Catt believes in when he talks about his forwards who are well prepared for the high flying Fijians.
Italy has some prominent names who defeated the Springboks last November.
They include Benetton Treviso's tighthead prop Simone Ferrari, who missed the 2017 Six Nations alongside clubmates Robert Barbieri and veteran scrumhalf Tito Tebaldi, who's back following a three year absence.
The Flying Fijians will take on Italy at 2.30pm Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on Viti FM.
