Dan Carter's French club has suffered another European Champions Cup loss after the shock retirement of their 24‑year‑old star player.
Springboks fullback Johan Goosen stunned the Racing 92 club by announcing he was quitting to return to South Africa to take up a job in the business sector.
Goosen, who has 13 caps, was the French Top 14 player of the year last season.
Meanwhile, Racing's Irish coach Ronan O'Gara only learned the news on Twitter on the eve of Racing's 23‑7 loss to the Glasgow Warriors in Glasgow.
