All Blacks backrower Sam Cane will be making his 100th international test appearance this weekend when the All Blacks take on the Wallabies in the second Bledisloe Cup match and the last round of the Rugby Championship.
This is after the former captain was named to start at flanker by coach Scott Robertson and will pair up with young Wallace Sititi.
Cane will become the 13th player to play 100 Test matches for the All Blacks and has led his country on 27 occasions including captaining the side to the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The 32-year-old will also be playing his final match along with TJ Perenara for the All Blacks this weekend.
Meanwhile, coach Robertson has made further changes to his matchday 23 squad that defeated Australia last week.
Beauden Barrett returns to the side after missing the previous clash through illness and is selected at fly-half, while Anton Lienert-Brown comes into the starting XV following the injury to Jordie Barrett.
The All Blacks starting XV include Ethan de Groot, Codie Taylor, Tyrel Lomax, Scott Barrett (c), Tupou Vaa’i, Wallace Sititi, Sam Cane, Ardie Savea, TJ Perenara, Beauden Barrett, Caleb Clarke, Anton Lienert-Brown, Rieko Ioane, Sevu Reece and Will Jordan.
The impacts are Asafo Aumua, Tamaiti Williams, Pasilio Tosi, Patrick Tuipulotu, Luke Jacobson, Cortez Ratima, Damian McKenzie and David Havili.
The All Blacks will take on the Wallabies at 7.05pm Saturday in Wellington.
