Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne says the loss against the Brumbies over the weekend was disappointing and it is more disappointing to not even get a bonus point loss.

Byrne says they were going for a bonus point in the last few minutes of that match but was unfortunate as the Brumbies held on to pull away with a 28-20 win.

He says it was a frustrating game for the team, especially for him, sitting from inside the coach’s box and seeing how the players committed some unforced errors on the field and giving the Brumbies 14 easy points in the first half.

Byrne says one positive thing they came out with against the Brumbies was the penalty count for them where they received 11 penalties.

He says this is an unusual stat for them but they have been working hard on their discipline.

The Drua will take on the Western Force at 11.55pm this Saturday in Perth in the Culture Round of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition. In other matches this week, Moana Pasifika will play the Chiefs at 7.05pm Friday, the Reds will take on the Rebels at 9.35pm Friday, the Blues will play the Hurricanes at 4.35pm Saturday, the Highlanders will take on the Crusaders at 7.05pm Saturday and the Waratahs will host the Brumbies at 9.35pm Saturday.
