The Canterbury Bulldogs are embracing the challenge of a potentially season‑defining encounter with the Warriors compounded by a tough NRL draw this Friday.
The Bulldogs have been dealt a hard hand by the NRL’s scheduling with both sides sitting on the edge of the top eight on 14 points and the result could decide the finals fate of both sides.
Meanwhile, the Warriors may have been able to enjoy their first bye of the season courtesy of last week's pressure‑relieving 34-12 win against the Titans, but that can only be the starting point if they are to break their finals drought.
The Bulldogs will face the Warriors at 8pm Friday.
