Planning for life after rugby is essential not just for the players, but for their families too therefor current and former rugby players are encouraged to attend a special two-day workshop designed to support their transition into sustainable farming.

The workshop, funded by Pacific Rugby Players and and organized by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Ministry says it is free of charge and specifically tailored for retired players who are either already involved in farming or considering it as a future path.

The Ministry of Agriculture says the workshop will cover a wide range of support services and programs, including soil testing and crop sustainability, land clearing and contractor outsourcing assistance, farm management and modern farming systems and how to form cooperatives and invest in agriculture

This is a unique opportunity for rugby players to gain practical tools, knowledge, and support to build something meaningful off the field and secure long-term stability for themselves and their families.

The workshop will take place on August 28th and 29th in Nadi.
