Broncos coach Wayne Bennett has walked out on a press conference after taking exception to questions about his coaching future at Brisbane.
Ahead of tonight’s clash with Melbourne at Suncorp Stadium, Bennett would not respond to a media report claiming the Storm’s off‑contract coach Craig Bellamy had not ruled out moving to Brisbane next year.
Throughout the press conference following yesterday’s captain’s run journalists pressed Bennett on whether his opposing coach on tonight was the right man to succeed him but refused to add any fuel to the fire.
The Broncos play the Storm tonight at 9.50.
Meanwhile, the Roosters beat the Bulldogs 6-0 last night.
