Former Wallabies fullback Greg Martin says the Australian Rugby Union should cut the Rebels because Melbourne is not a real rugby town.
But Martin, a Fox Sport rugby commentator, believes the Western Force will be culled from Super Rugby instead because the Australian Rugby Union will not want to risk a legal battle with the Rebels' Christchurch‑born owner Andrew Cox.
Martin believes Western Force who are effectively run by the ARU would go.
