Australia cricketer Steve Smith admits Australia are now treating every game as a final as they look to kick‑start their 2017 ICC Champions Trophy campaign against Bangladesh tomorrow.

Australia's opening game of the tournament on Friday was rained off with Smith's men on 53‑3 in pursuit of a target of 235 in 33 overs against New Zealand.

As a result, the teams took a point apiece, meaning Group A leaders England now only need one win from their remaining two group games to progress to the semi‑finals after they began the tournament with an eight‑wicket win over Bangladesh.

Australia will play Bangladesh at 12.30am tomorrow.

Meanwhile, an unbeaten 81 runs from captain Virat Kohli helped steer India to a comprehensive 124‑run victory over Pakistan in the opening match of their 2017 ICC Champions Trophy campaign.

India is now leading Group B with 2 points.
