The Ministry of Health and Medical Services says 70 to 80 percent of the patients treated were children.
The government-funded outreach was conducted by the Dermatology Department at PJ Twomey Hospital, covering communities from Daviqele to Naqara.
The Ministry says medical teams treated more than 200 patients in each zone.
Health Ministry says scabies and fungal infections, including tinea capitis, identified was the most common skin conditions.
Patients were provided with medication and advice on preventing the spread of these infections.
Vunisea Subdivisional Hospital Medical Officer Dr Aaron Prasad says he has never seen such a large turnout for a medical outreach programme.
