Code hopping superstar Mark Nawaqanitawase has revealed that he will weigh up his options and make a decision on his international future next year.
A lot has been said about Nawaqanitawase's future in rugby union, but the 26-year-old star has finally broken his silence on his Instagram story, where he stated that right now his only focus is moving to Japan and connecting with his new team at Saitama Panasonic Wild Knights.
His agent Milan Volavola-Shankar set tongues wagging last Tuesday when he said Nawaqanitawase was not playing international rugby this year.
Volavola-Shankar then said that as of August next year, Nawaqanitawase will have completed his three-year international stand-down period and with his heritage making him eligible to represent both Italy and Fiji, he remains open to all options regarding his international future.
