Former Vodafone Fiji Bati captain and long-serving Melbourne Storm prop Tui Kamikamica has announced his immediate retirement from rugby league on medical grounds.
Kamikamica has captained the Bati since 2023 and represented Fiji in 23 Test matches.
The powerful forward has made 142 NRL appearances for the Melbourne Storm and has been part of the club’s leadership group since 2025.
Earlier this week, Kamikamica was honoured as a Life Member of Melbourne Storm, becoming the first Pacific Islander and first Fijian to receive the prestigious recognition.
This year also marked his 10th year with the Melbourne-based club.
Kamikamica leaves the game after a decade with the Storm, having established himself as one of Fiji’s leading players on the international stage.
