The Church College Fiji Under-15 boys made an epic comeback to clinch their finals spot in the 2026 Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball Championship when they defeated Marist Brothers High School 27-17.
Marist led 11-9 at halftime.
A strong comeback led by Mausio Taliu rallied the Tamavua side as they went full-court press and converted Marist mistakes into points to secure the win.
In the other Under 15 semifinal, Swami Veikananda College edged International School Suva 22-20.
In other games played this morning, the Yat Sen Secondary Under 17 boys side are through to the finals this afternoon after edging Suva Grammar School 25-23.
In the girls Under 17 quarterfinals this morning, Grammar are through to the semifinals after beating Gospel High School 25-21, while Swami Veikananda College edged Nadi neighbour Fiji Agape Mission School 24-23.
