The Chiefs have booked their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific semi-final spot after defeating the Reds 46-24 last night.

Damien McKenzie was influential for the Chiefs, scoring 24 points.

The Chiefs talisman crossed for two tries and added five conversions and two penalties.

Meanwhile, Kyren Taumoefolau scored a double, while Samisoni Taukei'aho and Isaac Hutchinson also crossed for tries.

For the Reds, flanker Fraser McReight, playing his 100th Super Rugby match, caused headaches for the home side at the breakdown, while scrum-half Tate McDermott impressed in just his third match of the season following a serious hamstring injury.

Hard-running centre Filipo Daugunu was the pick of the Reds' backs but did not receive as much ball as he deserved.
