Warriors survive LeBron’s 51-point onslaught to take Game 1 of NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors have won Game 1 of the NBA finals after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-114 this afternoon.

The game was forced into overtime as they finished the game with a 106-all draw.

Steph Curry scored 29 points with 9 assist and 6 rebounds while Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson scored 26 and 24 points respectively.

Meanwhile LeBron James scored a total of 51 points for the Cavs.

The Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Cavs and the Warriors will be played at 12pm next Monday.
