Fiji-born Parramatta Eels wing and Australian rugby league international, Semi Radradra has been charged with three counts of domestic violence following allegations from his former partner, Perina Ting.
Radradra was arrested moments after he stepped off a flight from Fiji with Jarryd Hayne at Sydney Airport last night.
He was questioned and charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and two counts of common assault.
Radradra’s former partner claims that she was the victim of three attacks including one alleged assault when she was nine months pregnant.
The Parramatta Eels have released a statement saying that Radradra will be afforded the presumption of innocence and will continue to provide him and his family with all the support and welfare services they have available.
The club said it will work closely with the relevant authorities and be open with the NRL Integrity Unit throughout this process.
