Fiji Coral Coast 7s officially launched and set to kick off from next week

The McDonald's Fiji Coral Coast 7s has been officially launched and is set to kick off from next week at Lawaqa Park.

The tournament will be held from next Wednesday to Saturday.

The Youth Division of the tournament will be held next Wednesday and Thursday while the Women's Division will be held next Thursday and Friday.

The winner of the Women’s division will get $5,000 while the winner of the youth category will get $4,000.

The Men's Division will start on Friday and end on Saturday.

16 teams are taking part in the Men's Division with the final place to be taken up by the winner of the Tabadamu 7s which will be held this weekend.

Pool A includes Police, Mango Bay Ratu Filise, Sigatoka River Safari Henibua and Outrigger.

Fiji Development, Red Wings, NFA and Shangri-La’s Fijian are in Pool B.

Pool C includes Tabadamu, Natadra, USA Falcons and Stallions. FirstLight Taveuni, Western Sydney 2 Blues, First Landing and the winner of the Tabadamu 7s are in Pool D.

The winner of the Men’s Division will receive $10,000 in prize money.

Former Flying Fijian, Rupeni Caucaunibuca is the Ambassador this year.

The Police 7s team is the defending champion of the Coral Coast 7s.

They defeated Tabadamu 17-0 last year in the final to win their fourth title.
