Ear biting allegation in Fiji Drua and Brisbane City match

Brisbane City captain alleges his ear was bitten in match against Fiji Drua in NRC.

Brisbane City hooker Andrew Ready has alleged that his ear was bitten by Fiji Airways Drua hooker Samu Suguturaga in their match at Ballymore Stadium yesterday.

Ready was nursing stitches on his right ear after a scrum in the match yesterday.

The Reds forward reeled out of a first half scrum and immediately raised the “he bit me” call with referee Damon Murphy after he alleged Fijian opposite number Samu Suguturaga took a bite.

The Fiji Airways Drua will meet Melbourne Rising at 5pm next Friday.
