Saint Joseph’s Secondary School President for Old Scholars residing in Canada, Teresa Rehman, was overwhelmed to meet her friends from primary and secondary school as she reminisced about their school days.
Rehman shared this with fijivillage News this evening during the registration for the 70th anniversary cocktail at the school hall.
Rehman was excited and emotional as she said she tries her best to attend every Saint Joseph’s reunion when the time comes.
She says she left Fiji when she was 18 and has always held Fiji and the school close to her heart for grooming her into the woman she is today.
Rehman says the school brings back a lot of good memories, and she is encouraging old scholars from around the country to come together as sisters and celebrate the 70th anniversary in style.
Rehman says she was a school prefect and feels blessed to have attended Saint Joseph’s.
Meanwhile, the theme for the celebration is “Together in Gratitude, Hope, Love and Compassion.”
