People First Leader Inia Seruiratu says the party is embarking on a new journey without the leadership of Voreqe Bainimarama and Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
Seruiratu made the remarks during the launch of the party at Korovuto College in Nadi, where he acknowledged that People First is made up of former FijiFirst members following the deregistration of the FijiFirst Party in 2023.
Speaking to fijivillage News, Seruiratu said they have respect for Bainimarama and Sayed-Khaiyum, but the party is moving forward without them.
He added that they have confidence in their team and the people of Fiji, saying they are committed to serving and engaging with the people.
