Students of Niusawa Methodist Secondary School in Taveuni have been urged to stay focused on their education, work hard and make the most of opportunities as they prepare for their future.
The message was delivered by President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu when he received the students at State House yesterday.

During the visit, the students learned about the roles and functions of State House and gained an insight into the work of one of Fiji’s important national institutions.
President Rat Naiqama encouraged the students to use their visit to reflect on their dreams, interests and career aspirations, while considering the different pathways available to them.
He also urged them to explore Government programmes and opportunities that can support their skills development, further education and future careers.

The Head of State reminded the students that achieving their goals requires determination, discipline and good decision-making.
He also stressed the importance of listening to the guidance of parents, teachers and elders as they continue their education and make important decisions about their future.
