The 86th FMF Inter-District Championship torch relay has made its way through Ba and Tavua today as excitement builds ahead of the start of the tournament.
The torch was welcomed by football communities in both districts as it continues its journey across Viti Levu.
The torch is scheduled to be in Rakiraki from 12pm to 12.30pm before travelling to Korovou where the Northland team will welcome the torch from 3pm to 3.30pm.

The torch relay will continue tomorrow, with Rewa hosting the torch from 9.15am to 9.45am.
It will then travel to Nakasi, where Tailevu Naitasiri will welcome the torch from 11am to 11.30am.
The torch will later make its way to Suva ahead of the official opening of the 86th FMF IDC at the HFC Bank Stadium.
The Malaysian High Commissioner to Fiji will officiate at the opening ceremony.
The 86th FMF IDC kicks off tomorrow, with the semi-finals to be held on Saturday and the finals on Sunday.
Tomorrow’s matches at HFC Bank Stadium will see Seaqaqa take on Kiribati at 11am in the Premier Division, followed by Navua against Nadi at 1.30pm in the Super Premier Division, Nasinu against Rewa at 3.30pm in the Super Premier Division, Ba against Lautoka at 5.30pm in the Super Premier Division, and Labasa against Suva at 7.30pm in the Super Premier Division, with the official opening also taking place.
At Buckhurst Park, Tailevu Naitasiri will meet Tavua at 11am in the Premier Division, Taveuni will play Savusavu at 1pm in the Senior Division, and Northland Tailevu will take on Bua at 3pm in the Senior Division, while Rakiraki will face Nadogo at 11am in the Senior Division and Dreketi will play Lami at 1pm in the Senior Division at the Fiji FA Academy.
