Lieutenant Colonel Eminoni Nabogibogi, Captain Aliveta Tabuakarawa, Warrant Officer Class One Reginald Molia, Warrant Officer Class One Jovesa Ratubalavu and Sergeant Manasa Nukuvou were promoted during a ceremony held today at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Strategic Headquarters at Berkeley Crescent in Suva.
The ceremony was officiated by Acting Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff Brigadier General Sapenafa Motufaga.
Major Eminoni Nabogibogi, Joint Logistics Command Chief Staff Officer Acquisition, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, while Lieutenant Aliveta Tabuakarawa, Staff Officer International Defence Cooperation/Coordination, was promoted to the rank of Captain.
Warrant Officer Class Two Reginald Molia and Warrant Officer Class Two Jovesa Ratubalavu were promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer Class One, while Corporal Manasa Nukuvou was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Congratulating the newly promoted personnel, Brigadier General Motufaga says the ceremony recognises their achievements and their potential to take on greater responsibilities within the RFMF.
He reminded the newly promoted personnel that their new ranks come with increased responsibilities and expectations as leaders within the RFMF.
Brigadier General Motufaga also thanked the personnel for their continued commitment to the RFMF and wished them success in their military careers.
