Senior citizens treated to Christmas lunch

52 senior citizens from the Samabula Home had an early Christmas celebration after they were treated with a Christmas lunch toady.

This was organised by the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation in partnership with the RC Manubhai social club.

Ministry of Women Permanent Secretary Dr Josefa Koroivueta says that people need to take care of the senior citizens and remember them during this time of the year.

Koroivueta says that they will continue to support the home as they have plans on renovating the home next year.
