The casket of former Minister for Employment, the late Agni Deo Singh, arrived at Nadi International Airport yesterday ahead of his funeral today.
The late Minister was received by Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica, Minister for Justice Siromi Turaga, Permanent Secretary of Employment Maritino Nemani, senior government officials and staff members from the Ministry of Employment.
Family members and close relatives of the late Minister were also present at the airport to receive his casket.

In a statement, the government says the arrival of the casket was an emotional moment for those gathered, as family members, colleagues and government officials paid their respects to the former minister.
The late Agni Deo Singh passed away in Brisbane following an illness.

He will be cremated at Raralevu Cemetery in Nausori today.
Members of the public wishing to pay their final respects to the late Minister may attend the funeral service at Rishikul Sanatan College between 9am to 12pm today.
