WOWS Kids Fiji, in partnership with the Unit Trust of Fiji, has successfully raised $125,000 during its annual gala fundraiser held in Suva over the weekend.

The event attracted more than 300 attendees, all coming together to support the vital work carried out by WOWS Kids Fiji for children diagnosed with cancer across Fiji and the wider region.

Chair and Co-Founder Sina Kami expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, stating that the funds will go toward essential and practical assistance for children battling cancer.

While acknowledging UTOF and the people of Fiji for their continued support, Kami says they are blown away by the generosity and support from everyone who attended this year’s gala fundraiser organized by UTOF

She also acknowledged the contributions of business houses, individuals, and event partners who played a key role in the success of the evening.

A highlight of the event was the launch of the Unit Trust of Fiji Foundation, which marked the occasion with a donation of $20,000 toward the cause.

Funds raised will enable WOWS Kids Fiji to continue providing critical support services to children with cancer and their families, while also strengthening advocacy and awareness efforts around childhood cancer.
