We cannot afford to rely on catch-up rugby after being forced to do so against three of the current top three teams, New Zealand, South Africa, and France.

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach, Osea Kolinisau highlighted this to fijivillage Sports from their base camp in Perth, saying he was pleased with how his players trusted one another and stuck to the team’s systems to fight their way back in those matches.

He says the comebacks speak volumes about the players’ attitude and belief on the field.

Kolinisau stressed that playing with intensity from the opening whistle is crucial this weekend.

He praised the team’s resilience, noting that the players are always willing to fight hard for each other.
