There is no place for drugs in schools and in the Deans - Radrodro

There is no place for drugs in schools or in the Vodafone Deans Trophy competition this season.

That was the clear message from Fiji's Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, during the launch of the Deans Trophy competition at Gospel High School.

Radrodro says more than 121 schools will participate this year, reflecting the continued growth of the prestigious schools rugby tournament.

He says that as participation increases, so too does the responsibility of everyone involved to uphold the values of the competition and ensure a safe environment for all participants.

The Minister stressed that every student deserves to compete in a setting that promotes safety, respect, and fair play.

He urged students to wear their school jerseys with pride and to say no to drugs both on and off the field.

Radrodro also reminded students that they represent the future of Fiji rugby, adding that the Deans competition serves as an important pathway for developing the country's next generation of rugby players.
