TD10F no threat to Fiji, heavy rain could lead to localised flooding
A Tropical Disturbance 10F is currently located South of Solomon Islands, and it is not expected to have any direct effects on Fiji.

The Nadi Weather Office says the system is expected to track in a South South East direction and pass West of Vanuatu.

The forecasters confirm that the system will not pose any direct threat to Fiji.

However afternoon thunderstorms with heavy rain is expected over Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

This is based on the Severe Thunderstorm Warning that we have had since late last week.

Localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood prone areas.
