Amitabh Bachchan’s fans can breathe a sigh of relief after reports claiming the veteran actor had been hospitalised were denied by sources close to the Bachchan family.
According to reports, the 83-year-old actor had only visited Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai for a routine medical check-up and was never admitted.
A source says Bachchan regularly visits the hospital for monthly check-ups and had returned home the same day after his examination.
In the early hours of this morning, Bachchan also shared a cryptic but cheerful post on his blog in Hindi, reassuring many fans that he was active and doing well.
Speculation about his health began after reports claimed that Bachchan had allegedly been admitted to the VIP wing of the hospital since 16th May due to stomach-related issues.
The reports quickly sparked concern among fans on social media, especially after the actor had greeted fans outside his residence just days earlier.
On the work front, Bachchan is currently filming the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD alongside Kamal Haasan and Prabhas.
Reports suggest the highly anticipated film is targeting a release in December 2027.
