Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Glen Jackson is calling on the senior players within the team to step up this weekend when they face the Western Force in round 9 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

While speaking to the media from the home base in Lagilagi, Nadi, Jackson stressed that he is quite disappointed that they have to lose their captains early in the season, which has created a challenge in their leadership group.

He says that Isoa Nasilasila has done a good job while taking over the leadership role in the past two matches.

Co-captain Temo Mayanavanua was sidelined for six weeks in February after suffering a knee injury, while Frank Lomani will be out for three weeks due to an ankle injury.

Other injured players in the Drua include Ponipate Loganimasi (arm), Epeli Momo (knee) and Meli Tuni (knee).

The Drua will need a win this week to move from the bottom of the table.

The Fijian Drua will host the Force at 4.35pm tomorrow at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

In other games, the Highlanders will meet the Brumbies at 7.05 tonight, Moana Pasifika host the Chiefs at 2.05pm tomorrow, the Hurricanes will face the Blues at 7.05pm, while the Reds play the Crusaders at 9.35pm.
