Newly inducted Head Girl Shreenithi Ratna Sami and Head Boy Dhruv Avishal Prasad of Rishikul Sanatan College
Newly inducted Head Boy Dhruv Avishal Prasad and Head Girl Shreenithi Ratna Sami of Rishikul Sanatan College are taking a strong stand against drug use as they step into their leadership roles.

Speaking to fijivillage News, 18-year-old Head Boy Dhruv Prasad stresses that one of his key priorities is raising awareness about the dangers of drugs and encouraging students to make positive choices.

He strongly advocates for teachers, parents and the wider community to work together to address drug-related issues and guide students towards a safer and more responsible future

Prasad acknowledges that balancing leadership responsibilities with schoolwork and personal commitments will be challenging, but says he remains confident with the support of his parents, friends and the community.

Head Girl Shreenithi Ratna Sami also highlighted drug and substance abuse as major concerns affecting young people.

She says she will use her leadership role to promote awareness, encourage open discussions and create a safe environment where students feel comfortable speaking out.

Sami adds that she aims to promote inclusivity and support both teachers and students in academic and extracurricular activities.

Meanwhile, a total of 148 students were badged during the ceremony, taking on various leadership roles at the school.
