Former Fiji Water Flying Fijians and Fiji 7s winger, Benito Masilevu, played a key role in helping Cakaudrove secure an 18–15 victory over Macuata in the second round of the Fiji Rugby Union elimination competition.
The Vakativa, Cakaudrove player guided his team throughout the match, providing leadership on the field and helping control the game as Cakaudrove edged out their northern rivals.
Speaking to fijivillage News, Masilevu says it was a great feeling to be back home and contribute to his province’s success.

He emphasized the importance of giving back to grassroots rugby, noting that young players represent the future of the sport and deserve support and guidance from experienced athletes.
The former high school teacher is currently on a break from his rugby commitments in France and is expected to rejoin his club upon his return.
