LTA and Fiji Motorcyclists Association strengthen road safety awareness

Motorcycle riders have been given an opportunity to raise their concerns and strengthen their understanding of safe riding practices through awareness sessions conducted by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and the Fiji Motorcyclists Association.

The sessions, held at the LTA Valelevu and Lautoka offices, brought together members of the motorcycle community to discuss responsible road use, safety practices and the importance of complying with road regulations.

The engagement also provided a platform for riders to share challenges they face on the roads and provide suggestions directly to the LTA.

The LTA says working closely with rider groups and key stakeholders is important in improving motorcycle safety and promoting better understanding between authorities and road users.

The Authority says the initiative is part of its continued efforts to create safer roads for all motorists, including motorcycle riders.
