The Kimaya Brighter Minds Trust has received a generous donation of $6,500 from Hamilton Sangam.
This will directly assist the Trust in expanding the Brighter Minds Program across more schools, enabling the training of additional teachers and the provision of essential learning kits for students.
The funds were raised through a recently organised golf tournament to support the Trust’s growing education initiatives in Fiji.
The contribution reflects Hamilton Sangam’s commitment to empowering young minds and supporting community-driven programs that create a lasting impact.
Speaking on behalf of Hamilton Sangam, Munish Chetty says they are proud to be associated with Kimaya Brighter Minds, the cause it stands for, and what it has achieved with young minds in Fiji.
Chetty says supporting initiatives that empower children and invest in their future is something they strongly believe in.
Chairman of the Kimaya Brighter Minds Trust, Damendran Gounder, expressed his appreciation, saying they are deeply grateful for the continued support from Hamilton Sangam.
He says contributions such as this enable them to train more teachers, provide more teaching kits, expand into more schools, and ultimately reach and educate more children across Fiji.
The Brighter Minds Program, a neuroscience-based initiative for children aged 5–15 years, continues to gain momentum nationwide, focusing on enhancing concentration, memory, emotional intelligence, and confidence.
The Trust extends its sincere appreciation to Hamilton Sangam for their proactive efforts in making a difference beyond the classroom and contributing to the future of Fiji’s next generation.
Also present during the presentation was Fiji 7s legend, Waisale Serevi.
