The Suva Grammar School Vodafone Super Deans Under 16 team thumped Queen Victoria School 40-12 at the HFC Bank Stadium this afternoon.
The boys from Nasese had a commanding 21-5 lead heading into the break
QVS had no answer for the dominance showed by Grammar who piled on four more tries in the second half.
Inoke Tabuavere of Grammar was awarded the best player of the final award.
In the Under 17, Grammar is currently playing Ratu Kadavulevu School.
In other results this morning, Ratu Navula College defeated QVS 22-17 to claim the Under-14 title, Nasinu Secondary School thumped Ra High School 30-15 in the Under-18 playoff, RKS beat Marist Brothers High School 17-15 to claim the Under-15 title, and Nasinu Secondary School beat St Vincent College 15-0 in the Weet-bix Raluve U16 final.
Coming up this afternoon, Lelean Memorial School will face Navatu Secondary School at 2.20pm in the Under-19 final, followed by Lomary Secondary School and MGM High School at 3.50pm in the Raluve U18 final, and Lean will meet Grammar in the Under-18 final at 5pm.
