Flash Flood and Heavy Rain Warning remains as TC Urmil track southeastwards of Fiji.
A Flash Flood Warning is now in force for the whole of Viti Levu, while a Flash Flood Alert remains in force for the whole of Vanua Levu.

The Nadi Weather Office says Category 2 Tropical Cyclone Urmil was located 480 kilometres southwest of Kadavu at 5 this morning and continues to track southeastwards, south of Fiji.

This means heavy rain and strong northwesterly winds continue to affect the western and southern parts of the country.

Some parts of the country have already started to feel the impacts of heavy rain and strong winds.

The Weather Office says a Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for Fiji.

Surface flooding may occur on streets in urban areas with poor drainage, along with wet roads and reduced visibility during heavy downpours, increasing the risk of road accidents.
